Project overview
Nexgen centered on a workflow that could easily become invisible and confusing once automation started. Users needed confidence that forms had been received, transformed, and delivered correctly.
I approached the product as an operations interface first, shaping states, progress visibility, and exception handling around the realities of document processing teams.
Build process
Surface the hidden workflow
Mapped the end-to-end lifecycle from raw form input to generated packet so the UI could reflect each important checkpoint.
Support operators under pressure
Designed admin views that prioritized queue state, failure recovery, and document traceability.
Make automation legible
Connected the interface to backend automation in a way that kept the system feeling transparent instead of opaque.
